Jayne Gold


Jayne Gold is a Business Analyst with U. S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). Jayne joined the Treasury in November 2022, her third federal agency after 26 years working for Department of Defense (DoD) and five years with Social Security Administration (SSA). She is the OSDBU lead for Small Business Policy and Training, SBIR Phase III Pilot Program Manager, OSDBU Industry Liaison and other Small Business initiatives in support of Treasury’s Strategic Objective 1.3, Economically Resilient Communities; Treasury’s Strategic Objective 4.1 on Combatting Climate Change; and working diligently with OSDBU staff to meet the mandates under the President’s Executive Orders (EO) 13985, Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government; EO 14091, Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum M-22-03, Advancing Equity in Federal Procurement. 


From June 2016 to June 2017, Jayne got the opportunity to complete a developmental assignment with the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) at U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) and U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC). She was amazed at how well her diverse background and experience working at AMCOM enhanced her ability to utilize her Acquisition, Logistics and Program Management experience, immediately adding value to the small business mission. It was then that Jayne became interested in pursuing a career in Small Business. Jayne transferred from a career in Logistics to Small Business in 2018 at DoD, Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Small Business Office where she served as a Small Business Specialist managing their Mentor-Protégé program, led their Outreach initiatives and program, and liaison for their Small Business Advocacy Council.  Prior to joining MDA, Jayne worked with the U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Logistics Center where she held multiple positions, last being a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Aviation Directorate. Jayne supported several Aviation and Missile Programs at AMCOM providing Logistics and Readiness support.


Jayne is the recipient of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 DoD Vanguard Team Award August 2021; Joint Civilian Service Achievement Medal from Headquarters, United States European Command (EUCOM) Logistics Directorate, 3 Star EUCOM Deputy Commander Coin, 2 Star Logistics Director Coin September 2018. Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (AMC) Commander’s Award for Civilian Service June 2017, and Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Commander Achievement Medal for Civilian Service April 2017.

 

She is a certified Acquisition Professional completing Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Small Business Professional Credential Program July 2022; Back to Basics (BtB) Certification Acquisition Professional in Program Management Advanced and Life Cycle Logistics Advanced 2022; CES Advanced Course Certificate 2016; Department of Defense Acquisition Corps, 2009; DAWIA Certification in Program Management, Level III, 2009 and Life Cycle Logistics, Level III, 2004. Jayne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Treasury OSDBU and the Small Business community. 


Jayne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Alabama A&M University 1987 and a Master of Science degree in Program Management from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) 2009. Jayne is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
